The Riley-Smith Hall in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire is a registered UK charity providing a multi-purpose venue for the social and recreational benefit of the community.
THE BALLROOM
On the ground floor is the main ballroom with a sprung wooden dance floor, theatre stage, dressing rooms, orchestra pit, and a bar. A tiered balcony overlooks the ballroom accessible via steps to the first floor. The conference capacity of the ballroom is 362 people (300 in the ballroom + 62 on the balcony).
When set for a wedding or banqueting with large circular tables, the capacity is reduced to around 250.
SUPPER ROOM
On the first floor is the supper room - a smaller room used for meetings, rehearsals, dance classes or suppers for up to 100 people.
BAR & CATERING
When hiring the hall, a range of bar and catering options are available from the hall’s nominated providers. They endeavour to provide a range of affordable menus that can be tailored to suit your needs.
